IS A/W’16 THE SEASON OF THE WAIST?
A current look making its rounds within the fashion industry is adding a corset or ‘corset style’ waist belt to oversized tees and jumpers. The trend, which can be seen on none other than the queen of curves Kim K, is being approved of by the likes of PRADA, BALENCIAGA and SAINT LAUREN.
Kimmy is adamant to make a statement and has been spotted in recent weeks absolutely killin’ it with her new look!
The simplistic of outfits are being transformed into something super stylish and most importantly, sexy. Layering the waist belt over a simple tee creates the perfect hourglass shape.
A personal favourite is how Kim has layered various black fabrics. Opting for a tight leather skirt paired with a cotton jumper and denim look corset. - The fabrics contrast against one another and she really rocks the #allblackeverything vibe! Deciding on dark colours gives off a slimming effect, this is important when wearing oversized garms.
