It's important for every girl to have a go-to nude colour for their lips. In my case, nude is my favourite shade, I wear it daily as well as on nights out when I'm trying to achieve a glammed up look.
I've found that owning one nude shade just isn't enough! - One persons nude could be another persons pink. So it's important to find your shade when trying to get the 'all natural' look.
LIPSTICKS
- Honey Love (MAC Cosmetics)
- Blankety (MAC Cosmetics)
I love to switch between two nude shades, both of which are MAC. These are without doubt my favourite and both are very different.
HoneyLove -A light honey shade (beige with hint of rose)
This lipstick is however matte, therefore it is important that you use lip balm prior to application. This will prevent your lips from drying out.. that isn't a good look!
Blankety - Soft pink tone.
This shade has a amplified finish and looks great once on the lip. A recent addition to my collection and it already takes second place!
GLOSS
Commonly, lip glosses tend to get given a bad reputation due to the sticky and wet consistency.. however, there's nothing I love more than that glossy effect on your lips!
My go-to lips glosses have to be Kylie Jenners: LIKE. LITERALLY. SO CUTE.
Girl's don't worry if you can't get your hands on these though, I've found some great dupes!
LIKE: Being the darkest of the trio, the shade 'Like' would best be described as a warm mocha-nude colour.
LITERALLY: (My favourite of the three) This shade is a peachy-nude.
SO CUTE: The final of the three, this shade is a warm beige tone.
Although LITERALLY is my favourite shade when applied on it's own, I love to use LIKE and add SO CUTE to the centre of my lips creating a more plump look.
